UQ Junior Bullsharks
UQ Juniors, originally known as Taylor Bridge Rugby Club was founded in 1990 as a junior club. In 2017 TBRC formed a Joint Venture with senior club University of Queensland Rugby Football Club and became known as the UQ Junior Bullsharks.
At the UQ Junior Bullsharks they are focused on providing a fun and safe way for children and their families to enjoy the game of rugby. They work hard at providing an environment that the whole family can enjoy.
Their ethos is for Fun, Friendship & Community. As players, coaches and officials they train hard, and they play to win, but NEVER at the expense of our ethos.
They have programs for boys and girls in tag and tackle from 3 to 17 years of age. Their JV with UQ Rugby means their parent coaches get all the best support from fully qualified coaches from the UQRFC Coaching Academy.

Kenmore Centenary Rugby Club
The Kenmore Centenary Rugby Club, affectionately known as Kenmore Bears, was formed in 1965, which was around the same time that Queensland Rugby established Ballymore as its headquarters.
Recognised as one of the leading junior rugby clubs in the Western and Centenary suburbs, the Kenmore Centenary Rugby Club is a successful and sustainable Club with a strong and loyal supporter base. With a history in excess of 50 years, the Club traditionally fields around 30 teams annually, accommodating approximately 500 players across age groups from Under 6 up to Under 12.
They have teams from Under 6 – 12 with our players aged 13-15 playing with the UQ Junior Heavies, supported by the UQ Rugby Club.

UQ Junior Heavies
The UQ Junior Heavies was established in 2019 to provide a genuine pathway for players from UQ Junior Bullsharks and Kenmore Bears to senior rugby at UQ Rugby Club.
These teams play as the Junior Heavies and have the opportunity to wear the famous maroon jersey of UQRFC. The Junior Heavies began as U13 and U14 teams with the ambition of expanding into older age groups to provide opportunities to those without a rugby program in their school.
UQRFC remain committed to improving the pathway and will be providing accredited coaching support to ALL Junior Heavies teams.
