Kenmore Centenary Rugby was established in 1967 as Kenmore Rugby Club. In recent years, the interest in rugby coupled with the success of the club necessitated a name change to reflect the areas in which their players and supporters resided.
The Club is centrally located just west of Centenary Highway, near the Fig Tree Pocket intersection in the Western Suburbs of Brisbane at 50 Hepworth Street, Kenmore.
They are a progressive and active club that provides a relaxed environment offering that special Rugby "fraternity". The Kenmore Bears welcome not only players and parents but also those who simply want to be involved in the "Rugby Feeling".
The Club provides responsible, skilled and well balanced coaching to bring out the best (physically and socially) in our junior players. The Club has produced gentlemen of the sport including John Eales, Tim Horan and Ben Tune.
